On a sunny morning bike ride in Brooklyn, 24-year-old Katie McKenna was forever changed when she was run over by an 18-wheeler. Being crushed under a massive semi wasn’t something Katie should have survived. After 10 hours of emergency surgery, she woke to find herself in a body and a life that would never be the same. What began as a journal entry on a borrowed laptop during her extended hospital stay, became the best-selling memoir, How to Get Run Over by a Truck. Erin E. Wilson, CIMA

erin@thrivosconsulting.com Erin has spent the past 20 years in financial services serving clients and advisors in a variety of critical capacities. She started her career as an assistant to a financial advisory team. For the past 10 years she has served as a portfolio construction specialist for a major Canadian asset manager, working with over 400 advisor practices ranging in size from $20 million to $1 billion to bring capacity and discipline to their business. She has a speciality in investment and portfolio management systematization. During her time working on portfolio management systems Erin earned her Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Investments and Wealth Institute. She joined Thrivos in 2020 because she has watched clients and “the business” evolve and change, and believes that the financial services industry needs to provide advisors with the tools to evolve with it. She believes in on-going learning and below are a just a few of the courses she has completed throughout her career outside of investment management: Coaching and Change, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Words That Change Minds, Mastering Influence, and Sleight of Mouth. Antoinette Brookshire

antoinette@thrivosconsulting.com Antoinette is a native of Long Island, New York. She earned an MBA from Long Island University and has worked in the financial services industry since 2001. Antoinette has also worked for H&R Block preparing personal and business returns as well as teaching tax preparation courses during the off-season. She held a few roles at Merrill Lynch, but her greatest joy… was furthering the financial education of young people as part of the company’s philanthropy team. Antoinette developed skills in graphic design which helped further her love for serving others. She enjoys giving back to her community through various volunteer opportunities with her local church, New York Cares, and the American Heart Association.
